Slurpee Tram

Trams in Melbourne often have ads plastered on them for various things: shows, clothing, anti-smoking, festivals, etc. They are usually small placards, but sometimes the whole tram is one big ad. Last footy season, there was a St Kilda Saints tram that was pretty neat. But my favo(u)rite one by far is the Slurpee tram-how cool is this one? And in Australia, you can get a ginger beer flavo(u)red Slurpee, which kind of tastes like ginger ale. 7-11s are quite common around here, so I've definitely had a few Slurpees since moving Down Under!

  1. Aubree, On the day July 11 (7-11) in the US we get free miniature size slurpees. You must check to see if that is the case in Australia. Probably won't know until July 11. Something to look forward to....

    1. They do that here, but on November 7 (7-11 here because of how they write their dates). But would you believe they don't have shamrock shakes at McDonald's around St. Patrick's Day?! Major bummer!

  2. Wouldn't 7-11 be November 7?

    1. You are correct-we were actually getting on the sailboat in the Great Barrier Reef on 7-11 in Australia, so we missed our chance for free Slurpees!

    1. I know three Nathans, and I don't know which one you are (if any), but if you're serious, trams are Melbourne's main form of public transportation...basically streetcars.
